I am the head editor for two of the films, Miss America and American Romantic, shaping the overall pace, structure, and emotional arc in the edit. Miss America is partially in Mandarin, and American Romantic is primarily in Vietnamese, so a big part of my role is preserving the rhythm and nuance of multilingual performances. On these projects, I’ll also serve as my own script supervisor, closely tracking continuity and coverage so that what we capture on set directly supports the final cut.
For Lok and Rahma, I will be the on-set script supervisor, serving as the point person for continuity and communication between camera, sound, and directing so that performances and coverage line up cleanly in post. Lok is partially in Cantonese, and Rahma is primarily in Arabic, which means I’m also focused on preserving the flow and clarity of multilingual scenes as they move from set to edit.
On Duende, I will be the assistant editor, supporting the lead editor, Delanie Kendall, by organizing media, preparing assemblies, and managing project files to keep the post-production workflow efficient and on schedule. The film is partially in Spanish, which also means carefully tracking dialogue and performance across languages to keep the story clear and cohesive in the edit.
