These are the six short “fiver” films I created during my first semester at Chapman. Across the projects, I worked in a range of roles, including editor, color grader, DIT, assistant editor, and script supervisor. Each film reflects a different workflow and collaboration style, and together they show how I adapt across post and on-set responsibilities.
These two films, Trying and Needle in My Heart, were my primary projects during which I handled editing, color grading, and script supervision. Working across post and set allowed me to shape the performances, pacing, and visual tone while staying grounded in continuity and story intent.
Paint the Truth is a project where I served as the VFX specialist. I focused on integrating visual effects into the edit in a way that supported the story and stayed grounded in the film’s visual language.
From The Beyond is a project where I worked as the script supervisor, tracking continuity, coverage, and performance details to support clarity in the edit and consistency across production.
The Neighborhood is a project where I worked as the assistant editor, supporting the edit through organization, media prep, and collaboration to keep post-production running smoothly.
Voicemails is a project where I worked as the DIT, managing media, maintaining data integrity, and supporting the camera workflow throughout production.
